On Sunday, October 30th, CCC held their annual Harvest Carnival with the theme "Super Heroes."  With themed games like "The Dark Knight Walk", Trunk or Treat, a bounce house, hot dogs and chips, and of course lots and lots of candy, a great afternoon was enjoyed by many.  With the sun breaking through the day's rain, over 300 adults and children had a great time with many dressing up as their favorite "Super Hero."

In July a group of 15 people made their way from Ceres to Dilkon, Arizona to work with the Navajo Christian Foundation.  This trip marked 12 years and 18 mission trips to work with the Navajo people.

The group spent the week putting on a VBS program for Hallelujah Canyon Church that had not been able to provide a VBS program for 4 years.  It is located 30 miles off the main road in the desert.  The team also led worship in the children's ministry; assisted a church from Texas in providing meals for over 400 people in the Dilkon community; did maintenance work on NCF's property; spent time reconnecting with old friends from previous trips and doing community outreach; learned of the Navajo culture and interacted with the Navajo people; and spent time in worship and prayer as the group visited the Painted Desert.

Ceres Christian Church supports through Missions giving the work of the Navajo Christian Foundation and feel privileged to take several mission trips a year to visit and assist in the ongoing work with the people of the Navajo nation.
