The IMT (International Ministries Team) is an active CCC (Ceres Christian Church) member group believing in the Great Commission which our Lord commanded just before His ascension; that His followers are to make disciples of all nations, and that every believer is a witness for Jesus Christ, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit, and that we are responsible to pray for, support, and send missionaries into all the world.

This past year we were blessed with one short-term mission trip. Six of us went to Guinea, West Africa to work with Maninka children at Samaritan House Children’s Center.
This past year we also started a “Change of Heart” fund where we collect spare change from the congregation on a quarterly basis. The funds are used for World Out-Reach Partner needs. Most recently we helped fund the drilling of a well in West Africa enabling a village to have drinking water. We also supported the purchase of almost 40 backpacks to Healing Nations in Modesto who work with at-risk children.
Needs are met only by the Grace of God and our generous congregational supporters. We hold one fundraiser per year, “Evening in the Country,” which is held on a Sunday evening each September. This fundraiser always includes a tasty dinner of BBQ tri-tip with all the trimmings plus appetizers from some of our World Out-Reach Partner countries, an old-fashioned Pie Auction, a Country Store with all kinds of hand-made treasures to purchase, and down-home musical entertainment provided by some of our favorite local musicians. It's always a country-fun-evening and we hope you and your family will join us next time!

The team meets the second Sunday of each month immediately following the second worship service in the church's fellowship room (we always have food!).
